Grand Forks city leaders: No property tax increase 
The property tax rate in Grand Forks is expected to remain unchanged for another year following city leaders’ budget discussions Wednesday. In 2012, the city expects to collect $10.9 million in property tax, an increase of 2.9 percent over this year. The tax rate would stay at 107.77 mills, the same it’s been since 2010; the increased revenue would come from rising property values.
