On February 7th, I wrote about gas prices that had risen about 40 cents over a few weeks to $3.39 a gallon. Today, on February 15th the gas prices are $3.59 a gallon. Are you $%!?@$#$%?!@$%$!! kidding...

Rising gas prices drives up consumer prices across the nation 
A sharp jump in gas prices drove a measure of U.S. consumer costs up in February. But outside higher pump prices, inflation stayed mild. The Labor Department said March 16 that the consumer price index rose 0.4 percent in February, the largest increase in 10 months. Gas prices rose 6 percent to account for most of the gain.

Gas prices keep rising 
Gasoline prices rose again Friday and are now averaging more than $4 in six states and Washington, D.C. Oil had its biggest gain in three weeks and natural gas prices also rose. Retail gasoline prices were up a penny on Friday to a national average of $3.831 per gallon, according to AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service.

Weekly U.S oil, gas rig count up 11 to 1,984 
The number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the U.S. is up by 11 this week to 1,984. The Houston-based oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc. reported Friday that 1,317 rigs were exploring for oil and 663 for natural gas. Four were listed as miscellaneous. A year ago this week Baker Hughes reported 1,720 active rigs.
