Flood notebook: RRV floods receding south of Oslo 
Flooding in the Red River Valley continues shifting northward with rising river levels north of Drayton, N.D., and falling river levels south of Oslo, Minn., the National Weather Service said Wednesday.

Pembina, Walsh counties see rural major flooding
The Pembina River rose to just over 21 feet overnight Tuesday at Neche, N.D., reaching 21.08 feet at 7 a.m. Major flood stage is 20.5 feet. The river is expected to gradually rise to near 21.5 feet by Saturday.

Authorities are searching today for a Walsh County man whose pickup is believed to have been swept away from a water-covered gravel road Monday evening, about 3 miles southwest of Minto, N.D. The man has been identified as Guy Miller, 55, of Minto.
