St. Paul Park, Minn., man, 83, dead after car driven by wife accidentally hits him 
St. Paul Park Police Chief Mike Monahan said the victim, Edward Howard, was doing yard work near the back door of the residence, which shares an area with the driveway. Howard’s wife, Margaret, 80, was leaving the home in a car and struck her husband while backing out. Police were called to a home at 1372 Marshall Avenue at 6:17 p.m. Emergency workers transported Howard to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he died.
