St. Cloud State's Lee signs with Coyotes 
There was no epiphany, but Mike Lee just knew it was his time.
The goaltender from Roseau, Minn., on Thursday decided to forgo his senior year at St. Cloud State to sign with the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes.
Lee, 21, signed a three-year contract with the team. He will report to the Coyotes’ camp next season, he said.

MSUM will not add Division I ice hockey 
Minnesota State University Moorhead President Edna Szymanski is expected to announce today that the school has decided not to add Division I ice hockey to its athletic program. In a letter she released to the MSUM faculty, Szymanski said the school has fallen short of raising the necessary money to fund a Division I men's and women's hockey team "due to the current econmic climate." MSUM was hoping to raise $37 million to support an endowment-model business plan to sustain a hockey program.
