Minnesota man killed in Afghanistan 
Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered flags flown at half-staff Wednesday for a Richfield High School graduate who was killed in Afghanistan. Army Spec. Kedith L. Jacobs was 21 years old and a 2008 graduate of Richfield. He enlisted in 2010, and was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Defense Department lists Denver as his hometown. He was killed May 27 in an attack on his unit.
