One bar failed a recent compliance check of several liquor establishments and sold alcoholic beverages to an underage youth, the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department reported Wednesday.

Official: Bus driver had ‘good record’ 
The transportation coordinator for Larimore Public Schools has received a number of inquiries about a Larimore, N.D., school bus crash Wednesday, but said parents should not be concerned. Henry Smith said the bus driver, Kenneth Brunk, 70, has a good record and more than 10 years of experience.
No students were hurt in the crash, which occurred at 39th Avenue and U.S. Highway 2, two miles west of Larimore.

The family of a boy prosecutors say was sexually abused for six years by a Larimore, N.D., man say they are concerned that the man was able to bail out of jail last week. Adam Scott Hamilton, 33, Larimore, was arrested in December and charged with the continuous sexual abuse of the boy before he was 13.
