OUTDOORS REPORT: The latest on fishing, hunting success in the region 
There aren’t many people fishing these days on Devils Lake, but the anglers who venture out continue to report good walleye action. Most anglers are now jigging the bridges of state Highways 57 and 20, Six-Mile Bay and the Mauvais Coulee with minnows or trolling crankbaits along sunken points and roads. Some of the better areas include the Golden Highway, the sunken road in Pelican Lake and sunken points such as Haley’s Hump, Patience Point and the Fort Totten and Cactus Point areas.
