More metro dwellers hospitalized for asthma
Minnesota health officials say residents of the metropolitan Twin Cities are more likely to end up in the hospital for asthma compared to those living in the rest of the state. Minnesota road worker hit twice by suspected gunfire 
A road construction worker in the southern Twin Cities was struck twice by what authorities suspect was gunfire. State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske says the worker was hit first in the wallet he kept in his back pocket and immediately after in his left arm.

Boater's body found in Minnesota's Lake Independence 
Authorities have recovered the body of a missing boater from Lake Independence in the western Twin Cities. The Hennepin County sheriff's office says a diver found the man's body in about 6-and-a-half feet of murky water near a dock Friday.

A longtime Twin Cities radio personality and racetrack fixture who went by the name “Dark Star” has died. KFAN Radio program director Chad Abbott said Minnetonka, Minn., police told him Friday that officers found George Chapple, 66, who worked at the station, dead in his apartment.

Hecker moved to Pennsylvania prison
