A two-vehicle crash on Standing Rock Indian Reservation has left one person dead. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is investigating the crash, which happened Friday afternoon south of Kenel, N.D. A car and a Standing Rock Public Transit van were involved. Authorities said one person in the van has died and several others were hurt.
Valley City officials are suspending the design of their water plant expansion to make sure the system can handle saltier water from the nearby Sheyenne River.
