North Dakota man convicted of attempted rape 
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says a 12-member jury found 59-year-old Joseph Brown, Jr. guilty Thursday of attempted rape while using force in August 2009. Prosecutors say the incident occurred at Brown's rural farm on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation.
