Spring enrollment at North Dakota’s 11 public universities and colleges keeps growing, hitting another record this semester at 45,280 students. In the short-term, fewer students are full-timers and more are part-timers, nearly one-third of the total count of actual students this spring.
The group includes a Nebraska education commissioner, university presidents from Missouri, California and Washington, and Fargo state Sen. Tim Flakoll. Flakoll is administrator of a college coordinating agency in Fargo.
