Rural Dickinson state Sen. George Nodland says one term in the North Dakota Legislature is enough. The 66-year-old Nodland says he won't run for re-election next year. He represents District 36 in southwestern North Dakota. The region includes most of Stark County, part of Dunn County and western Morton County.

North Dakota man found guilty of 2 charges in October shooting 
A jury in North Dakota convicted a Mandan man of two felony charges stemming from an October shooting that left another man dead. 26-year-old Steven Voegele was found guilty Wednesday of reckless endangerment and terrorizing. He was acquitted of an aggravated assault charge.
