This is National Punctuation Day. So I hope you are paying attention to your commas, semicolons and ellipsis. This is one of those zany holidays that people think up to promote a cause. Most of them I just ignore. But the idea of Punctuation Day appeals to me. It is the brainchild of Jeff Rubin, a former newspaperman, who comes up with more gimmicks for the day each year.
