Social media savvy a bit lacking in Congress 
People ages 18 to 29 — the so-called millennials — practically live online. Yet simply adopting the latest technology isn't enough to bring them into the political world of Congress, according to the experts and leaders of youth-based political groups. Lawmakers instead should be using social media to actively engage that 18-29 crowd instead of as another one-way communication tool to tout their latest talking points.

FEELING 'ABOVE AVERAGE': More college freshmen confident, if not overconfident 
When it came to social self-confidence, about half of freshmen questioned in 2009 said they were above average, compared to fewer than a third in 1966. Meanwhile, 60 percent in 2009 rated their intellectual self-confidence as above average, compared with 39 percent in 1966, the first year the survey was given.
