A fast-moving fire tore through a three-story building housing homeless families in northwestern Poland early today, killing at least 21 people and injuring 20 more, including an infant, officials said.
A 10-year-old boy was killed in a mobile home fire in Salol, Minn., on Tuesday night. The boy, Kodiak Robert Alan Nelson, was found by firefighters inside the home, according to the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff is identifying two people killed in a fire in a modified garage early Friday in far eastern Becker County. The sheriff says it appears the pair had traveled to the property. Due to the cold, they fired up the wood stove and got back into the car while the building warmed.
