NDGF sets big game transportation rules for CWD unit 3F2 
As part of the restriction, hunters shooting a deer or other big game animal in North Dakota Unit 3F2 — Sioux County — can’t transport a carcass containing the head or spinal column unless it’s taken directly to a state-inspected meat processor.

NDGF seeks to learn more about extent of CWD in state 
The Game and Fish Department learned Wednesday that a sick-looking mule deer shot and reported last fall by a hunter in western Sioux County in far southwestern North Dakota had tested positive for the disease. The deer was an adult buck, and the positive diagnosis marks the first time CWD has been found in North Dakota.

North Dakota deer hunters are reminded that deer-head collection barrels will be removed from collection sites today. After that, hunters who would still like to submit deer heads for chronic wasting disease and bovine tuberculosis testing must take the head to a Game and Fish Department district office before Nov. 30.

A bank robbery suspect has been shot and killed in western Wisconsin, another is on the run, and one has been arrested. That’s according to Lt. Jeff Lorentz, of the Wisconsin State Patrol. He said three people attempted to rob a bank in Exeland in Sawyer County about 2:20 p.m. Friday. He had limited information on the circumstances but said one man ran away, one was arrested and one left in a car.
