GF County maintains low economic stress rank 
The AP’s monthly analysis of conditions around the country calculates a score from 1 to 100 based on unemployment, foreclosure and bankruptcy rates. Counties must have populations of at least 25,000. A county is considered stressed when its score exceeds 11.

AP POLL: Taxpayers more frugal with refunds
Most people say they plan to use this year's tax refund to pay bills, deciding in this sour economy to be more frugal with their annual windfall. Fifty-four percent of those receiving refunds said they intend to pay off credit card, utility, housing and other bills, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll released today.
