N.D. Secretary of State Al Jaeger, Bismarck, column: Lawmakers supported plans they now decry
These three legislators must have forgotten or simply not understood these details because they were discussed in detail when I appeared before their committee. Otherwise, why would they now jeopardize their credibility on the House Appropriations Committee by taking statements out of context and making partisan allegations against me that are baseless and untrue?

Jeremy Douglas, Fargo, letter: Mock’s college writings are fair game in campaign
Mock’s writings are just three years old and offer rare insight into the thinking of a candidate whom we otherwise know little about. His comments on religion in particular were condescending and insensitive to people of faith.

Vance Nelson, Pembina, N.D., letter: GOP, Jaeger run shoddy campaign
The GOP needs to explain to the voters why it is using personal attacks on a statewide candidate rather than talking about the issues. The fact that fiscal conservatives are coming out against current secretary of state Al Jaeger’s record says a lot.

Mary Kuhlke, Malawi, Africa: Mock lives his spiritual beliefs
I know that Mock is a spiritual person who not only believes in the power of God but the power of individuals to improve the world around them. It disappoints me that some people have chosen to misrepresent Mock’s faith for short-term political advantage.

Mary Christian, Minot, letter: Mock’s legislative accomplishments: None
Bombast and bluster are unappealing qualities in a person. They are especially embarrassing from a political candidate.

Corey Mock, Grand Forks, letter: Mismanagement plagues state office
Mine has been the type of campaign that people want to see — one focused on the issues and not personal attacks. I wish the same could be said of my opponent.By Corey Mock , October 12, 2010
Al Jaeger, Bismarck, letter -- Jaeger: Mock makes false claims
