Rare warbird display begins in Fargo 
The Fargo Air Museum will be displaying a rare collection of flying warbird planes starting Monday, according to Executive Director Fran Brummond. A Japanese Zero model, one of only two such planes in the world that’s flyable, arrived in Fargo on Sunday, and the rest of the warbirds will be flying into town today, Brummond said.

Authorities say a Crosby man died when his single engine plane crashed in a field shortly after takeoff over the weekend. The Williston Herald reports that the 1974 fixed-wing single-engine plane crashed 13 miles southeast of Fortuna in Divide County shortly before 2 p.m.
