Minot City Council to discuss flood protection 
Parts of the city were flooded by the Souris River last summer. More than 4,000 homes were damaged. Mayor Curt Zimbelman says the project should be designed to deal with river flows as high as 15,000 cubic feet per second. That is the second-highest on record.
