CORRECTION: 'Board opts for north library site' article 
Correction: In “Board opts for north library site” on Friday’s Page A1 of the Herald, a data entry error caused us to miscalculate the amount the library board added to the cost of the proposed new library to account for potential increases to land prices. It’s actually a $129,300 increase.

In a Saturday story about Garth Brooks' Nashville flood relief concerts, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the country music star would be playing six shows in nine days. The numbers were transposed. Brooks will be playing nine concerts over six days.

Correction: The movie “Nuremberg: Its Lessons for Today” will be shown at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Empire Arts Center. And the film "Northern Lights' will be shown at 2 p.m., also on Wednesday, at UND Memorial Union Lecture Bowl. An article and headline in Saturday’s Herald had the wrong date for the films.
Tuesday at the Empire will be the musical “Guys on Ice” at 7 p.m.

CORRECTION: 'Crow Call' reading
"Crow Call" is the children's book that's part of The Big Read. Story time at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grand Forks Public Library will feature the book "Crow Call." Its author, Lois Lowry, will give a talk on Friday, Oct. 29, at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks, but Lowry will not be at Saturday's story time reading at the library. A cutline in Friday's Herald (Page C2, "The List") for the cover of the book "Crow Call" was incorrect.

Don Doll was a four-time Pro Bowl selection, and was named the MVP of the game in 1953.
Doll returned to the Lions as a coach from 1963-64 and again from 1978-88.
