When things were bad in North Dakota, and we were having trouble making our state budget balance, our Legislature raised taxes — again and again. The Legislature raised taxes so often that the voters even rejected the tax increases back in 1989.
And guess what? Berg voted for almost every one of those tax increases, year after year.
