WOMEN'S HOCKEY: UND routs Lindenwood 7-3 
Earlier this week, UND women’s hockey coach Brian Idalski said he thought Meghan Dufault was finding her stride right as the team went home for Christmas break. It didn’t slow down Dufault. The UND freshman forward scored four goals and had five points as her team routed Lindenwood 7-3 in a road game Friday night.

Staring at the possibility of tying a program record for consecutive games without a victory, the Minnesota State-Mankato women’s hockey team snapped out of a funk just in time to hand UND its first loss of 2011.
After going 15 straight games without a victory, the Mavericks used a third-period goal from Lisa Edman and an empty-net tally by Moira O’Connor to beat the Sioux 5-3 on Saturday in Western Collegiate Hockey Association play at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
