The juvenile petition against Robert Warwick states that Warwick was the mastermind of the plan to rob and kill his grandmother, Lila Warwick, and believed she had a safe in the house with access to $40,000.
A 2012 Willmar High School graduate, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year boy are in custody and awaiting formal charges in the fatal stabbing of 79-year-old Lila Warwick, who was found dead in her home Monday evening.

Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog said two male individuals were arrested late Wednesday evening for the murder of Lila Warwick, 79, of Willmar. They are Brok Nathaniel Junkermeier, 19, of Willmar, and a 16-year-old juvenile from Willmar.
Lila Warwick was found dead in her residence Monday afternoon on the east side of Willmar. There have been no arrests in the case and law enforcement officials are investigating and asking the public for more information.
Twenty-one-year-old Paul Wickenhauser is out on $50,000 bond and is being electronically monitored. The State Patrol says Wickenhauser was driving a pickup on Highway 12 near Willmar Friday night, crossed the center line and struck a minivan.
A house dog that had been missing since its owners were involved in a fatal Christmas Eve accident south of Willmar was found alive and well Friday afternoon. The 3-year-old gray male Schnauzer, named Lord, was skinny, full of cockleburs and didn't smell the best, but seemed to have weathered the month-long test of survival without ill effects, including recent subzero temperatures.
