Most anglers are fishing in 30 to 34 feet of water on the south end of the lake and catching a mixture of walleyes and saugers. Fishing has been spotty during the recent cold front; some walleyes are suspended, and anglers are catching more saugers than walleyes.

Houses continue to be spread out in 14 to 16 feet of water or 26 to 32 feet along the south shore. There’s been a lot of moving around taking place, with walleyes biting best in the afternoon and evening hours, while saugers continue to bite throughout the day.

Saugers and walleyes are biting in 19 to 31 feet of water along the south shore. There’s been plenty of action and fish to bring home with the occasional trophy walleye, eelpout, pike, perch, sturgeon and tullibee mixed in, as well.
