The thought of making the Class A state championship game kept Addie Eamon and her Jamestown teammates awake the night before. “We were so excited. None of us could sleep,” said the 6-foot middle hitter. “We woke up and instantly it was like ‘Oh my gosh, we’re playing to go to the state championship.’”
Finding a finishing touch wasn’t easy for Grand Forks Red River here Friday. The Roughriders dropped a 3-1 decision in to Fargo Davies in the semifinals of the Class A East Region high school volleyball tournament.
