Motorists traveling on state Highway 220 and state Highway 1 near Oslo, Minn., should expect some minor delays starting Monday while crews work on areas affected by past flooding, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Robert Treuer figures he has consumed his fair share of Red River water in the last six weeks. Treuer, 46, is one of about 10 competitors scheduled to swim in the Extreme North Dakota Watersports Endurance Test, a marathon down the Red River scheduled for July 21.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in St. Paul said Thursday that it has released a draft environmental assessment of changes to the levees in Oslo, Minn. The city proposed changes to levees the corps built in the 1970s, including raising levees by 1.1 to 1.7 feet and realigning portions of the levee.
