The man accused in a Coon Rapids hit-and-run that critically injured a 9-year-old boy has made his first court appearance. Thirty-two-year-old Nathan Boese (BOH'-see) appeared in Anoka County court Wednesday. He was arrested Tuesday night.
The Hennepin County Attorney's office says the grand jury indicted 29-year-old Timothy Bakdash of Roseville on Thursday. Bakdash is accused of purposely driving onto a sidewalk and striking the pedestrians on April 15 near the University of Minnesota.
