All over the area, people are planning graduation parties this weekend. I think they go for things like miniature cupcakes and little kegs of root beer. Everybody tries to serve something different. The four high schools of Greater Grand Forks are turning out graduates this weekend.
What I remember best about the Bronze Boot was the delicious spinach salad that came with your meal. There never was any question about what kind of salad Therese or I would order with our dinner. The salad was so good that the only place in town where I can find a better bowl of greens is at our house.

There’s nothing quite like a plump, juicy summer-ripened tomato from the garden. While the first tomato always is slow to ripen, we usually end up with abundance of these luscious red orbs of summer by late August. Then all too soon, Jack Frost comes and the curtain falls on another tomato season.
