Grand Forks Central gave the East Grand Forks Senior High boys hockey team its closest contest to date on Tuesday night. That just goes to show how dominant the Green Wave have been in this young season. The Wave used a pair of power-play goals and limited Central to seven shots on net as Senior High beat the Knights 3-0 at the East Grand Forks Civic Center.
Despite playing a two-three zone for the majority of the game, East Grand Forks Sacred Heart had no answer for the post play of Stephen-Argyle. Seniors Donley Gryskiewicz and Lance Yutrzenka were able to find their way to the rim consistently for Stephen-Argyle, which topped Sacred Heart 64-41 on Tuesday in East Grand Forks.
