Council: East Grand Forks pool repairs maybe, new pool no 
East Grand Forks may get a repaired pool. But it won’t get a new pool. That was determined when the City Council voted unanimously to spend $8,000 for a study that would determine necessary repairs to the 50-year-old pool. But council members voted 6-1 against spending an additional $5,000 to study a new pool.
