A data management tool developed at UND will be offered to state offices of rural health in all 50 states through a new license agreement with the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health.
Two weeks ago, a Devils Lake doctor complained to a candidate for the position of dean of UND’s medical school that the school wasn’t accepting enough students from rural areas and, therefore, not contributing enough new doctors to alleviate the shortage there.
