Sharon Lynn Hart Age 65 of Emerado, ND passed away June 10th, 2013 at home.
Sharon L. Hart was born November 29th, 1947 in Altona, Manitoba Canada. Daughter of Donald and Kathleen (Johnston) Gibney. She spent her early years growing up in the Neche area. Her most cherished memories were riding the train from Neche to her grandparents’ home in Gretna Manitoba. Her parents relocated to Grand Forks, ND where she grew to womanhood.

Bonnie Jean Westacott was born January 25, 1927 in St. Michael’s Hospital, 813 Lewis Blvd, Grand Forks to Basil and Mildred (Beaton) Westacott. She was raised 5 miles north of grand Forks and attended Falconer District #11 grade school. They moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1939 and Bonnie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944. William V. “Bill” Peters
William V. “Bill” Peters, 87, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks.
William Vincent Peters was born January 24, 1926 in Devils Lake, ND the son of George and Merna (Kiefer) Peters. As a boy, he moved with his family to Grand Forks, where was raised and educated. He entered the United States Navy on October 16, 1943 and during World War II served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was honorably discharged from military service on April 5, 1946 at the Great Lakes Navel Station. He returned to Grand Forks and was employed with the Great Northern Railroad and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement in 1988. William married Bernadine Narloch on September 18, 1952 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto, ND. Bernadine preceded him in death on April 5, 1995. He was an active and lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Born September 21, 1920 in Grafton, ND, Jeanette Mary Kennedy was the eldest of four children of John and Elizabeth (Paur) Kennedy of Voss, ND. J. Oliver Johnson, age 92, of Gardar ND, most recently of Grand Forks, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Woodside Village, Valley 4000, Grand Forks, ND.
Oliver Johnson was born on June 21, 1920, in Gardar ND, son of the late Samuel and Sigrid Johnson. He graduated from Gardar High School. On June 22, 1957 he married the late Shirley Mae Cox in Mountain, ND. They lived and farmed in Gardar, Pembina County, ND. He retired from farming in 1984. He was a Pembina County Commissioner from 1966 until 1998, serving as Chairman several times. He was named County Commissioner of the Year in 1999 by the North Dakota Association of Counties. He was a member of the Gardar Lutheran Church. He also served on numerous other commissions and boards, including the Red River Regional Council, the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, the Pembina County Social Services Board and Pembina Mutual Insurance Board. He gladly volunteered his time on these boards as a way to serve the community.
