NORTHWOOD, N.D. - Northwood was humming Tuesday. And beeping. Whether it was the steady purr of generators parked outside businesses and homes, or the diesel roar of trucks or the growl of pay loaders going forward and beeping as they backed up, noise was the name of the game in Northwood as signs of Sunday's tornado were removed limb by limb, load by load.
