Vikings Ponder visits Fargo Scheels to promote College SAVE
David Ponder, the father of quarterback Christian Ponder, is pleased the Minnesota Vikings drafted left tackle Matt Kalil to protect his son. “We’re huge fans of Matt,” David Ponder said with a smile during a Friday news conference at Scheels. More than 500 fans gathered at Scheels to get an autograph from Ponder.

Fundraising for renovation of Bison Sports Arena closes gap
The gap is closing on fundraising for the renovation of the Bison Sports Arena, and it appears North Dakota State is closer than ever to making the project a reality. NDSU athletic director Gene Taylor said $30 million of the fundraising campaign’s $32 million has been raised, a figure that is up considerably from previous figures. It was at $20 million last September.
