Dr. Rodney Lee Case: Judge to rule on license in two weeks
BISMARCK — An administrative law judge said Wednesday he will make a recommendation about Dr. Rodney Lee’s medical license within a couple of weeks. Judge Allen Hoberg gave the timeline at the close of a 75-minute hearing. The state Board of Medical Examiners suspended the Fargo doctor’s license July 18 in an emergency action, citing allegations that he had improperly prescribed narcotics, improperly stored and disposed of narcotics and engaged in unethical billing practices. Lee has since agreed not to contest the revocation of his license, but the board went ahead with Wednesday’s hearing because Lee is disputing one of the several allegations.
