Sudanese ‘Lost Boys’ who settled in F-M help build new library in their Old Country
A library is taking shape in a city along the Nile River in South Sudan thanks to some former Lost Boys and their supporters here. The building is complete and a container of 20,000 books has reached the city of Juba, the capital of South Sudan, awaiting final shipment to the new library once the rainy season ends in a few months.

Midwest can't get any relief from oppressive heat
The National Weather Service issued excessive-heat warnings Thursday for all of Illinois and Indiana, as well as parts of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Forecasts called for daytime temperatures from the mid- to high 90s into the low 100s.
