WEEKLY DNR ENFORCEMENT REPORT: Fishing opener, Wolf depredation, Sandhill crane survey
Natural Resources Pilot John Heineman (Bemidji) flew the sandhill crane survey with the helicopter in northwest Minnesota. This is the first year DNR Wildlife has flown this survey. We have been finding some of their nests with one to two eggs and have seen a couple of young cranes.
