The National Labor Relations Board’s regional office in Minneapolis has dismissed four complaints against American Crystal Sugar Co. that claimed the nation’s largest sugar beet processor engaged in unfair labor practices. A family-owned potato processing plant in Minto, N.D., was completely destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon. The blaze initially produced a lot of smoke, and became unmanageable after firefighters arrived, according to David Gerzewski, chief of the Minto Volunteer Fire Department.
