Sheriff says Karlstad fire was man-made, offers $6,000 reward
The fire that destroyed 11 homes in Karlstad, Minn., and damaged 4,400 acres in Marshall and Kittson counties was started by someone, whether deliberately or through negligence, Marshall County Sheriff John Novacek said. He said officials are offering a $6,000 reward for information that will lead to the person responsible.
