Clara Bernice Klooz, 85, of Crookston, MN, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. She was born at Crookston on September 22, 1927 to Henry and Christine (Abrahamson) Klooz. On October 1, 1945 Clara was married Edward S. Klooz at Crookston. They lived in the area all their lives. Edward passed away on April 22, 2011.

Clara leaves her children: Dale Klooz and his wife, Sue, of St. Paul, MN, Carol Heinle of Crookston, MN, Janice Szczech of Fisher, MN, David Szczech of Crookston, and Sandy Klooz of East Grand Forks, MN; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Opperud; and 2 sisters-in-law, Carol Meine of Crookston and Nancy Meine of Hampton, MN.

Mark A. Lillehaugen
Mark A. Lillehaugen, 64, of Grand Forks, ND passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 26, 2013 on the Surgical Critical Care Unit of Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Mark Arnold Lillehaugen was born August 12, 1948 the son of Arnold and Lorayne (Keck) Lillehaugen of Brocket, ND. Mark grew up near Whitman, ND and graduated from Michigan High School in 1966. He attended Wahpeton State School of Science and graduated from North Dakota State University with an Agriculture Economics Major. Mark married Margaret Ann O’Leary on December 23, 1988 and together raised their son Eric in Grand Forks. Mark will be fondly remembered for his wonderful dry sense of humor, easy-going nature and caring heart. He was a kind, gentle man, loving son, husband, father and brother, an award winning dart player and an O.K. golfer. He will be so deeply, incredibly missed.
