MEN'S HOCKEY: UND, BSU ties to continue into the future
A mid-July press conference was held in Colorado Springs to announce the formation of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference in 2011. Before that announcement even happened, UND coach Dave Hakstol was on the phone with Bemidji State coach Tom Serratore. Both coaches agreed: Even if the teams were in different conference, they want to keep this budding rivalry going.

Thomas “Tom” A. Ronan, 62, Manvel, ND passed away February 26, 2013 in Grand Forks.
Tom was born July 26, 1950 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Arthur and Edna (Kinney) Ronan. He attended school in a one room schoolhouse near Manvel, ND until 8th grade. After which he attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School. Tom earned his Bachelor Degree from UND. He lived and farmed near Manvel, ND until he was forced to discontinue due to illness.

I am in total agreement that the three students who chose to put on KKK-like garments at the high school hockey game the previous evening were totally inappropriate. What frustrates me are the comments that are being made by many people in reference to the entire student section and to student population of Red River High School as a whole.
