Storms blow through with rain, lightning, wind gusts exceeding 60 mph
Severe thunderstorms with frequent lightning quickly rumbled across the northern Red River region this morning, with thunderstorm warnings issued at times for a good share of region, moving west to east, including for Grand Forks and Polk counties. The storms produced strong winds with gusts of up to 64 mph, according to reports.
