Alyce McMillan
Alyce McMillan, age 91, of Larimore, ND, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Larimore Good Samaritan Center.
Alyce was born August 5, 1921 in Petersburg, ND, the daughter of Hans and Mary (Donnelly) Wangen. She grew up on a farm and attended school in the Petersburg area and later went to Larimore High School. Alyce took accounting classes and was later employed at A & L Potato Co. in East Grand Forks, MN as a bookkeeper.

Karen Ann Frost (Adamson) September 9th,1943 - January 6th, 2013 Karen passed away January 6th, 2013 in Clifton Colorado. Karen was born in Fordville, ND to Art Adamson Sr. & Angeline Adamson (Petrla). She spent her childhood and attended school in Michigan ND. She married Myron (Jack) Frost at Sarnia Lutheran Church in Whitman, ND on December 9th, 1961 and enjoyed 51 years of marriage. They lived in Butte, Montana, East Grand Forks ,MN, and Clifton ,CO. Karen’s career included: Frenchie’s Jewelry, East Side Diesel, Altru, and Home Health Care. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking knitting, sewing, crafts and puzzles. She loved socializing with family and friends, helping others, and spending time with her grandchildren. Karen was an excellent cook and baker which will be missed by many. Her empathy, common sense and caring for others was her strength. Karen was a spouse, a mother and a friend you could always count on. Survivors include: Spouse, Myron (Jack) Frost, Children, Jacqueline (Michael) Hodny Lankin, ND and Chad (Karin) Frost Hartland, WI. Grandchildren: Cole, Nicole, Eden, Kaleb, and Kierra. Gregor Hanssen
Gregor Edwin Hanssen went home to be with Jesus January 6, 2013. He was born on September 20, 1918, the fifth child to Seede and Anna (Herman) Hanssen, on the farm where he lived his entire life. He was baptized and confirmed into Christian faith at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Niagara, ND. He was an active member of the church serving as Congregational Chairman for around 40 years.
Gregor was drafted into the Army in 1942 as part of the 90th Division “Tough Ombres”. He had many stories to tell of World War II and was proud to have been able to have a cigarette with General Patton. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He came home to marry his childhood sweetheart, Loretta Behm on September 11, 1946. The two celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last fall. Together they had two children, Dale and Diane.
