Mildred G. Lunde
Mildred G. Lunde, age 97 of St. Thomas, passed away Friday, April 05, 2013 at the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton.

Mildred Grace McPhail was born October 11, 1915 in St. Thomas, ND, the daughter of the late Allan and Hattie (Strachan) McPhail. She graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1933 and then attended nursing school in Valley City. After her schooling, she moved to California to live with her sister. Mildred was united in marriage to Peter M. Lunde, Sr. on July 11, 1942 in St. Thomas. The couple made their home on the family farm where they raised their children.

Delores J. Green
Delores J. Green, age 81 of St. Thomas, North Dakota passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Sanford Hospital of Fargo, North Dakota.

Delores J. Mattson was born March 23, 1932 in Midland Township of Pembina County, the daughter of the late Torbies and Sophie (Arneson) Mattson. She attended rural school in Midland Township. Following her education, Delores worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell in Grafton. She was united in marriage to Manvel Green on June 29, 1952 at the Grafton Lutheran Parsonage. The couple lived in Elizabethtown, KY from 1952-1954 while Manvel served in the United States Army. Following his discharge the couple returned to St. Thomas where they lived and farmed. Delores loved to help Manvel on the farm and was known to be a great truck driver. She later attended the University of North Dakota Art School.
