Red River crest ticks higher for Grand Forks-East Grand Forks
The Red River in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks now is expected to crest a foot or more higher, and a little later, than earlier predicted, thanks mostly to heavy rains across the Red Lake Basin in northwest Minnesota, said Dan Riddle, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
