Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Tioga. Father Shannon Lucht will officiate and interment will be held at United Cemetery in Tioga. A Scripture Prayer services for family and friends will be held at 7PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Alex Gunville Jr., 79, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Walhalla ND passed away Friday May 24, 2013 in the Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City, ND.
Alex was born June 1, 1933 the son of Alex and Lena (Goodrie) Gunville. He was raised in the Walhalla area with 6 other siblings. After High School, Alex joined the United States Air Force and married Helen Houle. Alex served 22 years in the Air Force before settling in the Grand Forks area. He worked as a carpenter in the construction trade, building homes. Bowling, pool, hunting, fishing, and Chuck Norris, Walker Texas Ranger were a few of his favorite things.
