The UND Interfraternity Council has established a zero tolerance policy that includes an alcohol ban following a string of campus incidents. IFC President Tom Connelly, of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, said representatives from all 12 UND fraternities and six sororities met April 4 to approve the policy.

The UND Interfraternity Council has established a zero tolerance policy that includes an alcohol ban following a string of campus incidents. California stunt plane crash kills former UND student
Two men died early Sunday near Salinas, Calif., in the crash of a German-made stunt plane registered to a Grand Forks address, and one of the victims reportedly is a former UND aviation student. Witnesses said they heard the plane doing aerobatic maneuvers just before it fell out of the sky at 6:55 a.m. Sunday, according to The Salinas Californian. According to the newspaper, the crash victims were identified as passenger David Gary Ostendorf, 24, of Salinas, and pilot George Alfred Mellone III, 32, of Yuma, Ariz.

What if Harvard had tried claiming Facebook because a student started the venture on campus? A university should have no claim on a student’s ideas or intellectual property as students have already paid tuition and fees to access courses, faculty and support. The Legislature must be proactive to protect students.
