Some pet rabbits warned a Finley woman and man about a garage fire that damaged their home. The rabbits were kept in the garage. Steele County Sheriff Wayne Beckman says Tracy Jacobson noticed the fire after she heard the rabbits making noise early Thursday.

The existing pike limit is three, with a possession limit of six, everywhere except for Benson, Eddy and Ramsey counties and Stump Lake, all of which already have a pike limit of five daily, with 10 in possession. The upcoming increase standardizes the pike limit statewide.
